Green is the color of money. For the American at least. They even call it the greenback.

So, that’s why this site is also green?

Wish I had that foresight but it was really on hindsight that I’m posting this non sequitur.
Maybe I was green with envy seeing how much money people are making online. Have to learn how to do that too.

Regardless. I get a few compliments telling me they like this design. I like it too. Thanks for your green light.

Still Seeking Revenue, Gaining Independence

Seeking Revenue is an evolution of From 0 to Independence.

A little background.

From 0 to Independence was started as a project for 2006. The goal is to achieve revenue online and gain financial independence. The target is a monthly revenue of US$1000.

The project started on track but soon a few things happened, changing its course.

First of which is the blockage of WordPress.com by the Great Fire Wall of China. This greatly impeded update and dampen motivation.

Second, running websites myself took a toll on my limited time. Time for writing is now divided between installing, customising, maintaining and managing hosting for all the websites. Running one blog may be straight forward. Try running a few? Delay ensured.

The mostly important reason though is that my business in China started improving. I am spending more time on the business and consequently less on this project.

To reiterated, “No, I have not given up”

This site is a rebirth of the project. Seeking Revenue will continue to chronicle and share ideas in the search of online revenue.
