<p>Getting <a target="_blank" title="some cases of publisher being banned" href="http://seekingrevenue.com/44/importance-of-multiple-revenue-sources/#comments">banned from Adsense</a> is one of the most dreaded event for an online revenue seeker. So much so that there is now a forum devoted to it &#8211; <a target="_blank" title="iambanned" href="http://www.iambanned.com/"><strong>iambanned.com</strong></a>.</p>
<p>You can see from the forum that there are 20 topics of websites being banned and 2 topics of websites being reinstated.</p>
<p>How to get reinstated from Adsense?</p>
<p>From anecdotes found online, it seems that the only way is to send in a well-researched email with supporting information to Google and pray.</p>
<p>Here is what <a target="_blank" title="AdSense Publisher Reinstated After Being Banned For Invalid Clicks" href="http://www.iambanned.com/index.php/topic,3.msg3.html#msg3">Andrew did</a>,</p>
<blockquote><p>After I calmed down a bit, I wrote to Ad Sense. I first explained that I have never violate the TOS nor clicked any of my own ads. I further explained that I had reported the unusually high clicks twice. I also pointed out my IP address and told them they needed to check their records as they would find no clicks from that IP. I commented on how it was unfair to penalize publishers for click fraud when they have nothing to do with the attack, and have no way to control or stop such an attack. I also started searching and sent similar emails to everyone from Google I could find. I even wrote to the guy that writes the Google Blog. LOL I was desperate for someone to help.</p></blockquote>
<p>Another <a target="_blank" href="http://seekingrevenue.com/44/importance-of-multiple-revenue-sources/#comment-42">example from SarahG</a>&#8216;s friend.</p>

<p>In Feb 2005, ProBlogger reported that <a href="http://www.problogger.net/archives/2005/02/11/weblogs-inc-earns-600-a-day-from-adsense/">Weblogs Inc earns $600 a day from Adsense</a>. Of course, Weblogs Inc went on to be <a target="_blank" title="America Online Acquires Weblogs, Inc." href="http://www.timewarner.com/corp/newsroom/pr/0,20812,1114578,00.html">acquired in Oct 2005 by Time Warner’s AOL</a> for a reported <a title="News.com: AOL snaps up blog publisher Weblogs" target="_blank" href="http://news.com.com/AOL+snaps+up+blog+publisher+Weblogs/2100-1038_3-5890058.html">$25 million</a>.</p>
<p>Sounds like he cash register just keep ringing?</p>
<p><a href="http://www.carinsurancerates.com/claims-center.html">Question</a> is, are the gold rush days over? Christ Garrett at Preformancing ask <a target="_blank" title="Can Anyone Make Money From Blogging?" href="http://performancing.com/node/2352">Can anyone (still) make money from blogging</a>?</p>
<p>I added the <u>still</u> because it had been proven already that one <u>can</u>. (Read the other <a title="Success stories" target="_blank" href="http://seekingrevenue.com/category/success-story/">success stories</a>.)</p>
<p>But can you do it if you are just joining the game <u><strong>now</strong></u>?</p>

<p>Over at <a title="Affiliate Marketing Rules" target="_blank" href="http://www.howtobepoor.com/?p=112">How to be Poor</a>, Max reported a whooping $1800 Adsense revenue in <u>a day</u> and even has <em>screenshot</em> to prove.</p>

<p>It turns out to be an <a title="I am full of crap" target="_blank" href="http://www.howtobepoor.com/?p=113">April Fools joke</a>. But he did make a respectable $20 (if you still believe him).</p>
<p>What did he do?</p>
<p>He created a website about flooded basement and spread the word. Nice idea.</p>
<p>If you visit <a target="_blank" href="http://www.basementflooded.com/">the site</a>, notice that Adsense is now Ads by Yahoo. Was Adsense suspended because of this joke? Or because Yahoo pays better?</p>

<p>The moment I noticed his sidebar, I knew I had to add this site to my <a title="Online Revenue Success Stories" href="http://seekingrevenue.com/35/online-revenue-success-stories/"> Web Revenue Anecdote</a> series.</p>
<p>Neville practices what is now common referred to as multiple streams of income. Instead of working at a steady job and earning one income, you work on multiple activities that generates diverse streams of income.</p>
<p>Take a look at of his experiment. While not exactly online, they are very interesting like <a title=" Lottery Experiment - An Itch to Scratch" target="_blank" href="http://www.nevblog.com/2005/03/lottery-experiment-itch-to-scratch.html">scratching lottery</a> and selling <a title="http://www.nevblog.com/2005/04/bottled-water-experiment.html" target="_blank" href="http://www.nevblog.com/2005/04/bottled-water-experiment.html">bottled water experiment</a></p>
<ul style="margin-left: 10px" />In Feb 2006, he did an experiment and made an <a target="_blank" title=" Google Ads Gone" href="http://www.nevblog.com/2006/03/google-ads-gone.html">Adsense revenue of $138 in a month</a>. What kind of traffic would generate a revenue like that?</p>
<p>Well, scrolling further down, you realised that his blog had been featured in WSJ, Yahoo Finance, Business Week, Financial Times, New York Times. Wow!</p>
