Read the Agreement

Read that agreementHave you ever read the Agreement, Terms and Conditions or Policies when you sign up as advertiser, publisher or affiliates?

Like many people, I used to just checked the checkbox and clicked on “Next“, “Agree” or “Confirm“.

Until one fine day.

I joined LinkShare sometime back but never really put up any affiliate ads. One day I decided to give it a try. The ad never earn me anything but it got my account terminated.

How?

This was what I got from Linkshare

Under the terms of your Affiliate Membership Agreement, LinkShare has the right to terminate your participation in the Network in its sole discretion, with or without cause. As a general matter, we have a policy not to disclose the reasons that lead to a decision to terminate an account.

Bottom line: Read the agreement.

How to be Poor with $1800 a day?

With $1800 AdSense a day, you got to try very hard to be poor. (Pun intended.)

Over at How to be Poor, Max reported a whooping $1800 Adsense revenue in a day and even has screenshot to prove.

It turns out to be an April Fools joke. But he did make a respectable $20 (if you still believe him).

What did he do?

He created a website about flooded basement and spread the word. Nice idea.

If you visit the site, notice that Adsense is now Ads by Yahoo. Was Adsense suspended because of this joke? Or because Yahoo pays better?
