Importance of multiple revenue sources

One important reason for having alternate or multiple revenue sources is based the adage of not putting all the egg in the same basket.

This is a basic principle in investing and risk management. It certainly still holds true when comes to online revenue.

Have you heard of Adsense account being disabled? Look no further than here, here, here and here.

How about similar stories with other revenue sources? Sure. Here (CJ), here (Linkshare) and more if you search around.

Bottomline?

Get more revenue sources ready.

Want more online revenue story? Here’s is The Internet Cashflow Guy.

Visit his site and take a look at what he is doing. We all can learn from one another.

What can you earn online?

Money Made Since 01-01-2006 by Neville MedhoraI came across Neville’s Financial Blog while researching information for another post.

The moment I noticed his sidebar, I knew I had to add this site to my Web Revenue Anecdote series.

Neville practices what is now common referred to as multiple streams of income. Instead of working at a steady job and earning one income, you work on multiple activities that generates diverse streams of income.

Take a look at of his experiment. While not exactly online, they are very interesting like scratching lottery and selling bottled water experiment

In Feb 2006, he did an experiment and made an Adsense revenue of $138 in a month. What kind of traffic would generate a revenue like that?

Well, scrolling further down, you realised that his blog had been featured in WSJ, Yahoo Finance, Business Week, Financial Times, New York Times. Wow!
