Review of week 23 – 24 (5 Jun – 18 Jun)
Another review time. Boy, time flies fast.
Almost half a year gone and I’m not even close to half way near my target. This is discouraging.
What did I do wrong or did not do?
Traffic steady increase although some sites looks like tapering. Building traffic would be my focus on the coming weeks.
Revenue shows a major improvement after I tweaked my ads positioning. Remember, sharpen your saw, a little learning can pay back lots.

Although I have a Google AdWords account for longer time than the AdSense account, I had not used Adwords before to drive traffic to my blogs.
The thought of spending money to gain traffic is still uncomfortable to me. Nevertheless it is time I do some exploration.
These are some questions I like to find out as I explore.
- How do I measure the ROI? How to relate the money spent and the revenue gained?
- Where to place? What keywords? What to target?
- How much to spend?
Bottomline? I have to find out more.
Some references I had found:

Where are you from?
If you are not from the US, you may find it a challenge to follow some of the recommendations offered by US bloggers or even Australian bloggers.
Coming from Singapore, I have the same problem too.
Certain tips (like growing blog readership) are international so everyone can use it. But others like ClickBank issues are more local in nature.
It worthwhile to learn from someone nearer home. And this is my target for this week.
I pop by LiewCF once in a while to have a look. A very interesting chap from Malaysia, Singapore’s neighbour. According to him, the first fulltime Malaysian blogger. He is pretty good at what he is doing.
I’m still looking for a similar person in Singapore. (I mean similar, not some blog celebraties.) I like to know people from Singapore seeking revenue online.
Of course, I like to know you too, regardless of where you are from.
