Collection of Creative Adsense Placement

Users are getting immuned to Adsense ads because it is getting too common. Many are simply not looking on them or are subconsciously shutting them off.

What can you do as an Adsense publisher?

If visitors are not looking at ads, they are certainly not clicking it. If they are not clicking it, you are not getting revenue.

One way to deal with this is to be creative with ads placement. Instead of just sticking an ads anywhere, place it creatively to attract attention (or reduce attention as the case maybe).

Here I look at some examples I had collected from my surfing around other people’s site. Maybe they can inspire you.

Filter Low Paying Ads in Adsense

I had long heard of the need to filter out low paying, or worst, spam ads, but had not gotten my act together to enter them one by one into the Google Adsense’s Competitive Ad Filter.

If you’re running AdSense, you’ve probably seen ads like this: “We have 4 best products for …”, or “Best resources on net for …”.

These advertisers pay very low per click. And if you drop by their sites, they are running Adsense too. How do they do it? Well, they are using your low paying ads to drive their higher paying ads which they run.

Here is a list to get you started with the filtering.

The biggest lie about Making Money Online

The biggest lie floating around Making Money Online goes like this

If I can do it so can you.

This is what some “famous marketers” are using to get to you to buy their “ebook”. It is an outright lie.

Why?

Simply because the fact that someone can do it does not mean that you can. This is a logical fallacy.

So think about it when you see sites or advertisements with message like this:

  • I make $99,999 with Adsense, so can you.
  • I make $88,888 with Affiliates, you can too.

In the end who is making more money? You or the guy selling you the information?

If they are already making so much with Adsense, why are they spending so much time and trying so hard to sell you the information?

There are enough free resources that give you the same thing. The next time you pull out your credit card to buy one of those, think again. Do not be the next fool.
